Flying Colors Performance TEam

Our Mission

The mission of the Flying Colors Performance Dance Team is; to provide FCD students the opportunity to perform more than one time per year; to improve the technical and performance skills of our students; and to share the joy of dance with our community. The Team focuses on artistry, community connection, technique, and

performance quality.

Who can participate?

Students ages 7 and older may audition for the team if: they have attended San Benito Dance Connection classes for 1 year; have good attendance; show all their teachers respect inside and outside of class; and have maintained a positive attitude throughout the year. Auditions for the team are usually in May.

Where does the team perform?

Flying Colors Dance performs approximately 6 times per year. Performance opportunities often include:

SBC Arts Council Student Showcase
The San Jose Dance Festival
1 dance competition per school year
Hollister Farmers Market
San Benito Dance Connection Annual Recital
